Overview

Amount and Period: $50 per quarter for all team members provided upfront (not prorated) for US-based Columnists. Local currency equivalent for Columnists outside of the United States.

How It Works

The Column Appreciation stipend is administered through Compt. You have a pool of funds that you can gift to others to increase their reimbursement allotment for perks. Here's the workflow:

1. You will receive an email invitation from Compt.
2. Log-in to Compt using Google single sign-on.
3. Click on My Perks, then select Team Recognition
4. Select Give Bonus and choose a fellow Columnist (full-time team members only) to Give Bonus To.
5. Input the Bonus Per Person amount and add a personalized message that is shared with the individual and other Columnists in a newsfeed in Compt. The message — but not the amount— will appear on the newsfeed.
6. Then, sit back and enjoy the moment. Expressing gratitude feels great!
