Overview

Plan Administration

Our plan will be administered through Guideline. Guideline offers professionally managed portfolios largely made-up of low-cost index funds with automatic rebalancing. They also offer environmental, social, governance (ESG) investment options that take into account companies' impact on their communities and the planet at large.

Plan Design

Plan choice: Safe Harbor

Profit sharing: None

Employer contribution: 100% match on the first 5% of compensation

Vesting: 100% immediately vested

Auto-enrollment contribution: 7%

<aside> 🚨 If you do not opt-out within 90-days of becoming eligible, you will be automatically enrolled at a 7% contribution. Eligible team members can increase or decrease their own election contribution % or opt-out at any time.

Eligibility

Minimum Age: 18

Minimum Service Requirement: 0 months

Employment: Full-time or part-time (30+ hours per week) team members based in the United States — in other words, W2 employees on Rippling payroll.

<aside> 🌍 Due to Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) guidelines, we are only able to offer a 401k for US-based Columnists. For full-time team members outside of the United States, we support pension plans or other retirement offerings on a case-by-case basis depending upon country guidelines.
